Breaking-In

Breaking-In is generally a process we offer over a four week period. The first two weeks will be spent at our spelling complex, where they are stabled safely and worked in our new rubber round yards. They will be taught the basics and be given their first few rides in the round yard, and also ridden along side a pony to give them confidence. Once they are comfortable and considered safe, we ride them in our 50x50m sand arena. The third and forth week we introduce the breakers into our training complex, where they are exposed to being saddled up on a tie up dock, working in company on the track, and given basic barrier training. Pre-Training

Pre-Training can be offered for as long as desired. We race horses out of our barn, so horses at any stages of their racing preparation are welcomed. We can facilitate horses that need to be trialled for barrier tickets or need jump outs for race fitness (at Clifford Park - Toowoomba). 

Our facility offers a range of diverse training aids - sand track, grass track, barrier gates, round yard, aqua-walker & treadmill. We find that being located on such a peaceful property really helps the horses to relax. 
We take pride in having horses leave our barn looking and feeling their best, and in a healthy mind set.

Re-Education services are offered by CBPT. Whether it be barrier problems, riding problems, ground problems - we are more than happy to discuss trying to solve these issues.
